Tokyo Odaiba held snow festival with 50 tonnes of Fukushima snow

From 2/16 to 2/17/2014, Odaiba in Minato ku Tokyo held snow festival with Fukushima originated snow.
It was planned by the local residents for 160 years anniversary of Odaiba. 50 tonnes snow was transferred by 5 dump trucks from Yanaizu machi Fukushima.
The residents made “slides” on the snow so the children can play with them.
Yanaizu machi was defined as “the specific contamination investigative region” in February 2012 by Ministry of the Environment. The atmospheric dose was over 0.23 μSv/h in the whole town.
