Howdy from the Mountain West Just call me "SG"..... At present our GQ GMC-300E Geiger Muller Counter is the only private radiological monitoring station in Wyoming. Feel free to visit www.netc.com (Nuclear Emergency Tracking Center) and view our monitoring site located on the U.S. NETC map in North Central Wyoming. There are approximately 300 stations visible on the map including our site. Hopefully, we will feed a second monitoring system at www.radmon.org beginning next week. For that system we will be installing a GQ GMC-200 Geiger Muller counter. Feel free to visit this reporting system as well. Just getting off the ground so to speak this Radmon.org system is focusing on both the U.S. and Europe radiation reporting data. If the moderators can address the question, and process, of posting photo's, charts and video's on this forum it may be helpful going forward. Also, I ask if there is a way to contact other members using a private message option? "SG"

Hey SGGreat questions! First, to insert an image (not always the best option but it works) hover your mouse over the third in from the left of the picture type icons on the tool bar in the editor (you have to be editing a document for the tool bar to appear) You should see a 'tool tip' pop up after a second or so that says insert image, and assumes that image is on a website address somewhere. Second, if you have a image file on your computer, iPad, Tablet, smartphone etc, you wish to include, then you'll need to use the Add Attachment option on the upper right hand corner. This works just like attaching a file in most email programs ... path to where the file resides by hitting the + Add files ... path to the image file, when the file in finished uploading, two buttons should appear, one labeled 'Insert' the other 'Delete' click insert and then done. The image will appear in your post when you hit the 'Create Post' button, and is automatically 'thumb-nailed' when you click the image in the post it will expand to full sized. As for videos we don't have the ability to host them, and probably won't for the foreseeable future. These IS the option however to host your videos at any of the following and LINK to them directly using the forth 4th icon in from the left: Supported Video Sites College Humor Daily Motion Gametrailers.com Justin.tv Meta Cafe MySpace videos UStream Veoh Vimeo YouTube And any direct link to .wmv / .avi / .mpg / .mov / .mp4 This couldn't be easier, click the button, paste the URL in the window and click 'Insert Video' your LINKED video will publish when you hit Create Post. Finally, for contacting other members, or even everyone if you need too, 1. Click the Members tab in the top left. 2. Scroll over the member names and you should see a box appear, do this as necessary to select as many individuals as you wish. Or alternately you may use the 'Select' drop-down option to select ALL or NONE 3. When you are done with selecting people you wish to message, use the 'Actions' button and select 'Send Message' which will open a new window. Title and complete the body of your message, the editor behaves just like in the forum itself will the same options. Click Create Message when done. The notice will appear in the addressee's inbox on the Forum and in the inbox on their email account used when signing up here or default account if you have registered more than one email address here. One more suggestion, I've not YET been through all the Help Files, two options here either use this address www.proboards.com/forum-help-guide OR click the Help button on the top left of the tool bar. Hope this helps !

Also SG I've had this area set aside specifically for Radiation Monitoring Sites and a Separate Section for each provider. Content from NETC.org would CERTAINLY be welcome there. At present this is an un-funded free hosting option, so I'd just ask that file size be kept small for bandwidth considerations. fukushimatruths.freeforums.net/board/75/radiation-monitoring-sites-live
