Regarding the report circulating the the recent Bald Eagle deaths were West Nile Virus. West Nile virus (WNV) is a mosquito-borne zoonotic arbovirus belonging to the genus Flavivirus in the family Flaviviridae. This flavivirus is found in temperate and tropical regions of the world. Eagles dying are not in swamps! The areas they are dying are at altitudes not conducive for mosquitoes either. This is how dumb the media knows most people are, they know you won't call them on their lies. I will! How many tropical mosquitoes do you see in the middle of winter? How many mosquitoes do you see in winter period? When water freezes, the standing water required for their larva isn't available and as they are in the northern regions in the summer and come to the south in the winter I would call this West Nile Virus, complete and utter BS.
