The 4 Perceptions in Society Regarding “The News”
November 19, 2009 by theupliftingcrane
The Content – They believe that those in society’s “positions of power” are generally “wise and good people” doing what’s best for them, other than the occasional “corrupt leader” of course. They basically trust “the news” which is reported to them as “the truth” by the mainstream news media/government. They either “don’t have the time” (“too busy”) or “won’t make the time” (“too lazy”) to look “outside the box” of what they’ve been told is “real” by those “official sources” of “the news.” In particular, unless some “political news” effects them personally, like their wallet, they could care less. This attitude is often times attributed to the “ignorance is bliss syndrome.”
The Curious – They have opinions that sometimes differ from those of the “general populous,” differing opinions which are influenced by “alternative news sources.” They also see that sometimes what the media/government “promotes/spins” as “news” is really just “propaganda,” especially in “times of war.” But even though they know this, they feel apathetic as to being able to make any “real difference” with this “alternative information” in a world they feel is dominated by the “status quo of power” which is generally corrupt.
The Corrupt – They are the “arrogant corrupt power elite” who criminally exploit the overall system by their “greedy manipulations.” A system whereby they control most of “the news media” with “their message” to push their “agendas” for “more power” to abuse. One of their “ultimate goals” is a “totalitarian new world order global governance.” These “evil beings” (many who are “illuminati/satanists”) for the most part hide their “crimes against humanity” so they can get away with even more crimes. There are also those who are in “positions of power” who “by their actions” are just “plain greedy” and don’t really care if they might somehow be “connected to the evil intentions” of other “power elite players.” It’s also worth mentioning that there are those who also “make a lot of money” who are not “greedy” or “corrupt” who often donate large sums of money to charitable causes (for the right reasons). Therefore, they refuse to be apart of “the corrupt.” In the end, as they say, it’s the “love of money” that is the “root of all evil” and not just “money” itself.
The Conscientious – They are not coming from any particular ideologue. They feel that “the truth” should be revealed to all people because “hidden agendas” are usually “hidden” because they are “unlawful.” These people who believe in the concept of “justice for all” rationally look at all the information available on any subject and then draw an “independent conclusion” based on “the facts” alone. They also can deal with “the truth” no matter how “ugly” it may be. For “reality” is “what it is.” And once comprehending any and all such “ugly truths,” they do their best to expose and share that information with others for the “greater betterment of humanity.”
