Let's Talk ...I've been honored by the growing participation here, and the number of people now contributing is very encouraging. I think that we have an established CORE group here, and over time that group will grow and add people who's background in particular areas of expertise will prove very valuable in vetting the information offered here ... because the unvarnished TRUTH is what I'm personally after, and hope y'all are TOO! I'd like to initiate a conversation with everyone concerning the direction of the Forum in general and specific. What do y'all feel we can focus on? Some express the need for a solutions focus, and I agree, solutions presentation is sadly lacking, both on this Forum and in general coverage of the staggering issues we face globally. I'm trying to focus on solutions this week, and flesh out the Frame Work for that to happen. Others have had issues with what they are publishing, linking too on Facebook, Google+, Youtube etc ... having accounts suspended or blocked or BOTH by others who get BUTT HURT over various 'disagreements' and being reported to the 'website police'. I promise that ain't going to happen here ... I want us to be A SOURCE for vetted, substantiated, proven, reliable, responsible information, and the ability to express one's clear and FACT BASED opinion without repercussion(s). The ONLY guidelines are already stated in several other places on this Forum, but I'll restate them here. I'm NOT tolerant of sustained ad hominiem attacks (realizing that occasionally people get emotionally over-charged in disagreement and will lash out when reason fails them) Every attempt will be made to resolve such matter PRIVATELY before other actions MAY prove necessary. I'm NOT tolerant of plagiarism. Other discussions pertaining to these general guidelines: fukushimatruths.freeforums.net/thread/330/intent-forum-raw-datafukushimatruths.freeforums.net/thread/2/welcome-concerned-citizens-earthfukushimatruths.freeforums.net/thread/401/logical-fallacies-art-debate So, I'd like to take some time and discuss what the REST of you fine people think we should be doing, doing MORE of, doing LESS of, creative ideas to help GROW this site and any OTHER ideas you think might be of benefit to ALL. There are NO wrong answers, and no one is going to get shouted down, told they are stupid, threatened with censure. So to set the mood for creative thought and responsible citizenship/activism please set you Fukushima Radio Dial to this, lean back, close your eyes and listen to your HEARTS: Thomas Newman - Ghosts (Aaron Static & Fort Road Remix)

HELLO ?
I've been posting links and datum we've uncovered to all the FB groups I'm aware of, and many of those creating responsible video content on Youtube channels ... with VERY mixed results. Most seem as content with re-posting memes and half ass 'journalism' ... and 'liking' each others postings.
This Forum is different, we are DETERMINED to work toward what solution(s) left to us ... which are FAR more powerful than many realize ... but we need to build ROCK SOLID DATA and work this from our local government(s) UPWARD. I'm taking the next week or so and building some proposed documents that we can begin to circulate and perfect ... starting at the local city counsel etc level and working upward building support along the way.
If we can't impose OUR collective will and knowledge directly upon the US Congress through our non-representing Representatives and Senators, we turn the STATES inside OUT on their sorry asses.
I'm looking for creative minds, experienced at preparing professional proposals to assist/proof-read coming documentation ... I want these proposals in TEMPLATE format so that we can take these forms and insert the proper official's name and contact information and DO THIS RIGHT ... we have very little time

Hmmmmmm still no conversation ? I've flown lead balloons before ... I probably will again If you are poking around and paying any attention, you'll notice that I've created a couple of sub categories in the "Fukushima Apocalypse Prepper Barracks" As I get time, I'll be migrating some of the content in various places as appropriate, and IF you created a thread that gets moved, you will be notified. We have some brilliant folks here already and MORE on the way, I can't believe my eyes, no one is responding much at all with the exception of Russ and a few comments here and there. We've GOT to wake up and move away from our inactive, complacent Facebook/Google+/Twitter mentality and habit and become engaged and ACTIVE. I wish I had the meaning to do this FULL ON, FULL TIME - I'M STILL WORKING FOR A LIVING, FULL TIME - BUT I'VE BANGED THIS SITE OUT IN A HURRY LET'S ROLL !!!

Solutions should be broken into 2 halves; northern and southern Hemisphere 1st biggest temporary remedy I see is relocating to the southern hemisphere. Now I know for many that is unacceptable, but for many others it's a desired goal but full of problems. So the first thing I'd propose is a Southern hemisphere group that can help others with relocating. In the second halve would be those choosing or forced to stay Northern. Everything in that half will eventually apply to the Southern group. From there I see growing hemp as an EXCELLENT IDEA. It prompted this post.

Also, as Russ pointed out, the radiation will affect the algae and reduce word wide oxygen production. Just like having a geiger counter, I think it would be of value if we can document and measure this coming reduction of oxygen in the atmosphere. Is there a tech device for this?

I'm not sure how exactly hemp helps, I'm NOT saying I'm dismissing it, I'm saying I don't know. As for the Southern Hemisphere is concerned, obviously to me at least is that even if we all had the means to get there, we are not very likely able to sustain human population at it's present level only in the Southern Hemisphere, and as you've hinted, eventually this will be a world wide event. Abandoning the North for the South will likely exacerbate the situation with many reactors and global problems with so many neglected systems rotting away without anyone to stop future catastrophes.

LMAO, The Northern Hemisphere is the Titanic and it's already hit the iceberg. Your NOT making decisions for a society! You don't have that power and never will. Most will stay and die. Most will never know why. The smartest and most capable of us will be in the Southern Hemisphere:) "The Powers that Be" Like what's happening, that's why it's being allowed to continue. It's called depopulation. And the Sheep will not wake up. Some small groups will,(like this one). And hemp helps because it's one of the fastest growing plants and produces tons of oxygen and fiber. The more we bring hemp fiber to market, the less the need to cut down rain forests, or tress anywhere! Also, with all those new cancers will you want hemp oil or more radiation/chemo?

Interesting ideas there Peter. Do you know of any responsible resources someone could turn too for advice on hemp production and it's benefits? I've heard that hemp itself is different from marijuana, which is touted as a medical miracle in every day media. I know that hemp is used for making certain textiles and rope type products, but I don't recall hearing of the medical benefits of hemp oil before. Again, I'm not doubting, I'm seeking information and opinion is fine, but stronger when backed with facts which people can read to back the opinion with.
Thanks again !

We need to establish some lines of communication, preferably in a live video chat in google hangouts or skype on a regular schedule to discuss the issues anf more importantly begin to create action plans for both building the forum and then action plans in getting things accomplished

While I agree in general that live video conferencing is a powerful medium, for those with the equipment to do it, the time and inclination, there are a couple of problems with it as I see it.
1. I've noticed the Russ and Whitefeather have had BIG problems with the Google+/Youtube Circles, I'm still trying to ascertain how this happens and neither of you have provided any details as to what/who/how it happens. Somehow people there in the Google+ circles object to your content, your mentions of THIS FORUM, see it as some kind of 'competition' and get you banned from Google+/Youtube. This is HUGELY counterproductive in many ways. I don't have the inclination to battle those IDIOTS, not any desire at all to join Google+ for anything! Google+ seems to me to be a gelded version of Facebook, which I'm trying to get entirely AWAY FROM.
2. I don't have a video camera and no real desire to purchase one and do videos. My life and work schedule present too many problems to resolve in trying to schedule any participation in scheduled video meetings with groups. The Forum setting is perfect for me in that it's NOT tied to my work/life schedule - and I can catch up any time.
3. Video conferencing may be a way to quickly get your ideas out, but there is no 'running conversation' that people can join later, if you missed the event, you missed it. Yeah you can comment, and hope to strike up a conversation with the author of the video at some point, but lets face it, comments on videos is a shitty way to communicate ideas.
4. There are many many threads going here already asking for participation, BEGGING FOR IT, YELLING about it, too many for ME even to keep up with. People (a few) are starting to participate and that's a good thing, but it's going to take some time to get going - it is however time well spent.
5. I still would like to get back to my solution(s) intentions of building template(s) by which we can communicate our thoughts, concerns, demands to our elected officials ... but that HAS TO be rooted in SOUND FACTUAL DATA ... not speculation, or TRUST ME it will only result in the WORST FORM of communication you want from government, a knock on your door, arrest, seizure of your property, guns, computers and any OTHER damning 'evidence' they see fit to steal from you.
6. I have MANY personal distractions and setting up yet ANOTHER thing to manage and schedule like a video channel would consume too much time AWAY from what I see (for ME) to be my primary focus, and that IS this FORUM
Just my thoughts

JMO, I see both points. Russ, immediate conversation, and ideas to put in the topic. Rob, let's face it, there will be ppl that DON'T let others speak, and cut others off. But that's just my opinion, Russ if ur on at 1pm, I will be watching,

well I agree Rob, and I was not suggesting to make a video channel here on the forum, rather just post a schedule and those that can and or want to attend will be able to.
I apologize about not keeping up with the threads, I just did not take time to read them all however, I should have more time to do so going forward
I agree about the paperwork and documents, and also about the actions people engage in (physical how, what where)and also then legal actions.
I will be doing some better videos explaining the Law of Nations and how it is to be referenced and used.
I am wondering if perhaps some of that information should be in a private or members only thread I am convinced that we as the people have to step up and provide real, reasonable credible solutions
I want solutions, real ones, and causing problems at the governance level is not part of that plan
I will start to share documents with you before I post any up on the board.
Russ
