Follow-Up to A Long Awaited Report.
Much is made in MOST media, government, academic, scientific sources systematically down-playing the dangers from Fukushima, Chernobyl, WIPP, Hanford and other nuclear disasters. We are bombarded with apples to oranges comparisons referencing chest or dental x-rays, bananas ( www.forbes.com/sites/timworstall/2013/08/10/the-fukushima-radiation-leak-is-equal-to-76-million-bananas/ ) and any number of patently silly things – as though we are stupid. Other 'respected sources' such as Fairewinds, Woods Hole come out with partial warnings, clothed in so much double-speak that it is difficult for a layman to know what the truth of the matter is.
The deeper one digs into what various governments actually know, what industry knows, what academic, scientific sources know, and actual reports and records adds daily to the confusion. TEPCO's cover-ups for months/years is well established fact, as is the continuous down-playing in US/Japanese govts, the UN-IAEA, academic, scientific sources and most of the media. We are left to fend for ourselves, unsure whom to trust or what to believe, in a world where the governments seek to tell us what is 'best for us' and covers up everything which might cause us to 'panic'.
This report will attempt to highlight the numerous contradictions, based upon the original flawed assumptions in the original report:
Flawed basic assumptions and difficulties:
*The assumption of reliable data on release(s) water/atmospheric from industries, governments, the IAEA and independent sources
*The assumption of static systems(s) water/atmospheric
*The assumption of static discharge(s) water/atmospheric
*The assumption of static contamination(s) water/atmospheric/biological
*The failure to consider nuclear waste dumping by multiple nations
*The failure to consider nuclear weapons testing by multiple nations water/atmospheric
*The availability of data which specifically identifies Fukushima as the source in question. Radioactive signatures specific to forensic sciences.
*The assumption that TEPCO is financially prepared to handle this situation for decades
*The assumption that no similar earthquake/tsunami event will further this disaster or create similar problems elsewhere in Japan or other seismically unstable regions
*The assumption that the spent fuel rods/assemblies from the Fukushima reactors are under control, no longer hazardous and proper methods of containment/sequestration are in place and working
'They' want us all to pretend that each of these incidences are isolated, static and under some kind of control … my own conclusion is that they aren't. Our precious planet has been deliberately irradiated for over half a century by man, producing waste products, persistent radioactive contamination, isotopes, which have accumulated in absolutely everything in our environment, soil, atmosphere, oceanic water, ground water, fresh water bodies/lakes/rivers/streams, in all plant-life, and creature on Earth. Every attempt to control the waste products left over from industrial, military, and other uses for nuclear materials has failed utterly, where any responsible attempt has been made at all.
They feed us ignorance, and except us to accept it, for us to not look any deeper, I mean who couldn't trust them? After all, they are exempt from law suits for the most part. They expect us to find it perfectly acceptable that they have continuously irradiated this planet we all live on since 1945. They've set up open air reactors, run them for years in a deliberate attempt to 'study' the effects of radiation on the entire biosphere of regions of the planet! They don't expect us to be intelligent enough to put 2 and 2 together, to understand the relationships and complexities for ourselves. They expect us to be dutiful, compliant citizens; to 'duck and cover' to not look any deeper than the two inches of radioactive water in the kiddie pool of information they offer us.
But it's all out there in the open, more or less, after careful digging, just waiting for you to discover and begin piecing together this huge lie. Will you do it or will you sit there mute, or just hit the 'like button' and move on? Will you get involved, or do you think hitting the 'like button' is involvement? Will you take any action, do any research, or read the research provided already, or will you sit there thinking 'well others are already doing things, I'll wait on them' or 'I don't want the government to come after me, I'm scared to act' or some other crippling reaction … if so I say you are part of the problem, that you trust that they are right after all.
Frankly, I don't give a damn if you 'like' this work … I don't need my ego to be stroked, and you stroking yours does little for me either, I'm way past the need or desire for a mental masturbation society … I want people to be inspired to action, participation, conversation – to foster taking what actions we may to save ourselves. You cannot imagine the absolute disappointment, disgust and rage I feel when someone just hits the 'like button' 30 seconds after I post something, knowing full well they haven't actually read, studied, comprehended anything – so shallow that that is the only response and action they will ever do. I have but one question for people like that, when the SHTF may I use your corpse for a sand-bag, or do you insist upon flowers and a carefully tended grave? Cause I don't have time …
On with the business at hand:
Here is an example of one of the many problems with Fukushima and the attempted clean-up/cover-up. The problem of storage or use of contaminated water, and the finite system(s) used in to address an infinite problem. We'll address this at some length, as 3 years later science is still minimizing the risks and pretending that this isn't going on on a daily basis since day one – how long do they think we can be expected to believe that there is no risk to hundreds of tons of contaminated water being dumped into the Pacific Ocean on a daily basis for 3 years running?

These storage tanks are problematic for a number of reasons, hasty construction, inferior materials, inadequate foundations, continuing earthquakes, rust/corrosion on the exterior bolts and seams, and continuing breakdown of the filtration equipment they are using to 'treat' the contaminated water with before releasing it into the environment. Additionally there is no way to stop the process of Bremsstrahlung.
" Electromagnetic radiation that occurs when charged particles with energies large compared to their rest energies are decelerated over a very short distance. Since electrons are much lighter than protons, electron bremsstrahlung is the most common. In bremsstrahlung, a continuous spectrum with a characteristic profile and energy cutoff (i.e., wavelength minimum) is produced. In addition, lines can appear super imposed, corresponding to the ejection of K and L shell electrons knocked out of atoms in collisions with the high-energy electrons."

Virtually every down-playing attempt I've seen to date utterly ignore that whatever effects brought upon us from Fukushima adds to the dangers already present in our environment. No one bothers to mention every event from Trinity forward, a history that is easy to discover. Likewise, no one bothers to mention that there is no country on the globe with nuclear capabilities with an operational method to safely dispose of the waste products for anything even remotely approaching the radioactive half-life of these wastes. No one bothers to mention the nuclear waste sites in operation currently which have thoroughly polluted the surrounding environments, or the hazardous conditions surrounding such facilities. We are expected to treat the Fukushima Disaster as an isolated incident, that is static, not ongoing … all this by an entire industry which has lied to us all along.
